The Allergies have developed a reputation for producing dancefloor assaulting 45’s that regularly sell out and this release is no different as You Wouldn’t Know fuses upbeat soul jams with their trademark energetic breaks driving underneath the catchiest of vocal hooks.

It’s a typically rambunctious fiesta of a tune that has become one of their hallmarks and exactly why they’ve won support from top name radio DJ’s like Craig Charles, Nemone, Dermot O’ Leary and Lauren Laverne.

‘I just want to get funky for you today’ is the opening statement on Special People and that’s exactly what they do as this B-side keeps the party going. Supplied with copious amounts of percussion breaks, jazz flute and a sweet bassline in a groove that could make even a statue dance, there is more funk packed into this track than an out of date stilton.

All killer and no filler all the way through on this 7inch so probably best you do yourself and your record collection a favour and sort one out.
